Vibration is a periodic motion when machine operates. It shortens the lifespan of the machine and lowers its performance. All mechanical equipment, piping and ductwork should be mounted on vibration isolators to prevent the transmission of vibration and mechanically transmitted sound to the building structure. Vibration isolators should be selected in accordance with the weight distribution so as to produced reasonably uniform deflections. |
